All about the Porto Santo Tour Book.

We will leave the Port or your Hotel towards Portela viewpoint, one of Porto Santo’s top attractions. The view down to the wonderful beach and over the Island are magnificent. There are some traditional windmills that will look great in any photo, and you won’t want to miss them. We will continue crossing old farmlands until we reach Castelo Peak (437 m). Here, we will see the views over the airport, the pretty city of Vila Baleira, the islets surrounding Porto Santo and the 9 km sandy beach. The locals made this spot a true Castle where they would take refuge when pirates or corsairs attacked them.  We will stop for 30 minutes in Quinta das Palmeiras, a lovely oasis, for a relaxing walk around the charming garden with local flora, exotic birds, and Koi fish ponds. Our last stop will be at Ponta da Calheta, the most southern point on Porto Santo Island, and a must-see spot overlooking the beach and stunning rock formations. On clear days, we can see the neighbouring island of Madeira. Return to Vila Baleira. Book your seat now!
