Madeira South Tour

After we pick you up, we’ll take you to the Southwest of Madeira. Our first stop will be at the charming village of PONTA DO SOL, which name means the point of the sun for the amount of sun it receives. Next, we will stop at MOLEDOS, a fantastic viewpoint over the magnificent coastline and banana plantations at the bottom of the cliffs. We’ll then go ahead with the tour to CALHETA, a pleasant maritime area with a man-made sandy beach and where we can discover an old sugarcane factory. Later, we’ll drive to the PRAZERES Educational Farm, a pleasant little place with animals and a herbal garden. We can see impressive cliff views from the lighthouse built in 1922 in PONTA DO PARGO. A short drive, and we will arrive at a viewpoint above PAUL DO MAR to appreciate the superb scenery over the fishing village, the spectacular road and the Atlantic Ocean. Afterwards, we will stop at the beautiful, calm village of JARDIM DO MAR, an excellent surf site.
