Meet us at the Cable Car bus stop in Funchal if outside the specified areas. Enter “Cable car bus stop” under “Hotel in Madeira or Porto Santo (optional)” at checkout, and we’ll email you the time.

    We recommend wearing shoes suitable for walking activities, light, comfortable clothing, a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen in summer. Please bring curiosity and an appetite—You will get high-quality food. Also, bring a bag if you’d like to buy goodies to take home!

    The tour combines driving, a ride on a cable car, a guided visit to the property and sitting down to try lovely fruits or lunch.

    There isn’t too much walking involved. The pace is leisurely, but the flat path is sometimes uneven.

    Fajã dos Padres, including the access to the restaurant, is accessible to people with mobility difficulties. However, the walking programs require a lot of mobility.

    The temperature varies between 13ºC in winter and 30ºC in summer and usually is mild and pleasant.
